I went into “Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator” not knowing that it was part of the “Index” franchise, although the “Toaru” part of the title should have tipped me off. I’m not a fan of the “Index” franchise and the first episode of “Accelerator” didn’t convert me.

We have an overpowered super anti-hero battling overpowered villains while totally underpowered cops get in the way. That’s not always a problem as long as the writing is interesting and original, but the writing here is horrifically bad. Add to that there is an incredibly obnoxious clone girl on bad drugs and helium who deserved to be collateral damage multiple times in the first few minutes but who will instead play an ongoing role against all reason.

It’s that bad. My final rating is D.

I saw it last night. I did not like it either. That clone girl needs to
die. :-(

Considering that she is the clones' hub (? <LOL>) and referred to as
"Last Order" IIRC, that might put 10,023 other clones at risk of death
and impact any story lines for the two other franchise series.

Any world that has 10023 clones of that little abomination needs to be totally destroyed immediately! LOL
