Well, the anime of "Nyan Koi" has finished and AIC has shown that they
still know how to do harem comedies in the manner in which they
traditionally have done such stories.
Now, whether or not you feel that is a good thing depends upon your
tolerance threshold for AIC harem rom-coms.
In my case, let's just say that the best things I found about the
anime were the eye-catches, particularly those of Kaede in the later
episodes. Never-the-less, it wasn't a bad watch, and I don't mind the
time I spent on it, but I won't be buying the DVDs nor bothering with
a second season if one comes out.
In any event, here is a summary of the key final points:

- Junpei turns completely into a cat because Kaede starts to realize
that he has the cat-curse on him, and she also sees his catears.
- Kaede finds a dying cat-Junpei in the park, but she doesn't
recognize him and only thinks that he is a sick cat.
- Keade finally remembers Junpei's instructions on how to make friends
with a cat, gets cat-Junpei to come to her, and hugs him gently.
(This makes cat-Junpei happy that at least he will die while being
hugged against Kaede's chest.)
- All the other cats that Junpei helped come to see what is going on,
Kaede becomes happy that she no longer scares cats away, and she
thanks Junpei for helping her learn this.
- At this point the curse is lifted (?) and Junpei ends up human again
behind a hedge, albeit without his clothes which came off when he
transformed into a cat
- All the rest of the girls come up and Junpei gets a beating from
some for being there naked, after which the harem situation ends up
happily unresolved.
However, in the epilogue it is hinted that the curse isn't totally
gone, that the series was reasonably popular with fans, and that there
may well be a sequel which will continue to focus upon the main love
triangle.
